Creating Impact. Strengthening Communities.

Showing Up When It Matters Most

Strong communities are built when people come together to support one another. The Donald Driver Foundation works alongside community organizations, businesses, volunteers, and donors to help address real needs and create opportunities for children and families.

Whether providing holiday meals, bringing joy to children in the hospital, preparing students for a new school year, or creating opportunities for families to come together, DDF believes that meaningful impact begins with showing up.

Battle with the Badges

Bringing the Community Together Through Friendly Competition

The Battle of the Badges Pickleball Tournament brought local police and fire departments together for a day of friendly competition, community connection, and giving back. Neighbors and members of the community also joined in.

The annual pickleball event gave first responders an opportunity to step away from their everyday roles and connect with the community in a fun and meaningful way. Community members, businesses, and supporters join the action, creating an environment where competition becomes a catalyst for connection and philanthropy. And a little friendly competition between fire and police.

At the center of the event is the opportunity to support the mission of the Donald Driver Foundation and the children and families it serves. From competing on the court to cheering from the sidelines, Battle of the Badges demonstrates what can happen when people come together for a common purpose.
